As usual, life gets in the way.  My laptop was down for two weeks, so no new updates until now!

My Italian study has floundered ever since I got out of school.  I have bought tapes, workbooks, and signed up for online courses, but I have a lot of trouble finding the motivation to work with these things.  I also have issues with retaining the information I get this way.  I have to say that the only real way to learn is in an interactive classroom setting…  at least for me.

That being said, I can’t find or afford classes right now, so I am trying to make it work some other way.  I spend my time reading in Italian, listening to Italian popular music, and trying to get in at least one lesson per day at CyberItalian.  It’s tough going, and I don’t know if I am making any progress, but at least I can say I am trying!
